Applications are invited for one posts of Junior research Fellow (JRF) and Research Associate (RA), in the Department of Civil Engineering, MNIT Jaipur for National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), Ministry of Home Affairs, Govt. of India funded research project
entitled “Resource Mapping of Earthquake Engineering Faculties in Engineering/Architecture Colleges”. Project is aimed to develop a database and MIS for experts/faculties working in different institutes in the area of earthquake engineering. The appointment will be on purely contractual basis with the consolidated payment for one year as mentioned below.

 

Position: Research Associate (RA)

Qualifications: 

  • First division (60% or equivalent CGPA) in B.Tech. (Civil /Computer Sc. & Engineering / IT) and M. Tech. in Civil Engineering/ Disaster Assessment & Mitigation/ Water Recourses Engineering, Remote Sensing/ Geoinformatics, Earthquake Engineering/ Computer Science & Engineering / I. T. / MCA
  • M. Tech./MCA with 05 years of experience or Ph.D degree in relevant specialization
  • Preferably having good programming skills and having experience in MIS development

Position: JRF

Qualifications: 

  • First division (60% or equivalent CGPA) in B.Tech. (Civil /Computer Sc. & Engineering / IT), M. Tech. in Civil Engineering/ Disaster Assessment & Mitigation/ Water Recourses Engineering, Remote Sensing/ Geoinformatics, Earthquake Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering/ I. T. or MCA

Duration of the appointment: Twelve months or one year.
