Applications are invited for the following contractual position under Institute funded research project titled- Coping with crisis of livelihoods and disasters: A study of migration in Sundarban islands.

 Name of the post: Research Assistant
 No. of Posts: One
 Essential educational qualification: Master’s degree in any Social Science subjects
 Desirable qualification: Research experience including proficiency in scientific writing and quantitative and qualitative data analysis and fieldwork. Prior research experience in Sundarban islands would be preferred. Candidate must be fluent in Bengali.
 Emoluments: Rs 15,000 per month (consolidated)
 Position duration: _6 months
