A walk in interview will be held for appointment of RESERCH ASSISTANT in the ICSSR sponsored Research Programme entitled “Climate Change, Dynamics of Shifting Agriculture, and Livelihood Vulnerabilities in Northeastern States of India”. The Research programme requires the Research Assistant to work in the Department of Economics of Assam University, Silchar and in field.

Qualifications: The candidates should have Ph.D/M.Phil/MA with minimum 55% marks. Candidates having Knowledge of computer skills will be preferred.

Duration: 06 Months

No. of Posts: 02 ((1 for four months// and another for four months extendable to six months subject to approval of ICSSR))

Emoluments: Rs. 15,000/- per month.

Note: The post is purely temporary and co-terminous with the project. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview. The University reserves the right to accept application at any time and consider candidates of exceptional credentials without applications.
